After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Alberto Ocomardia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Ocomardia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lei Bin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries De Putter in the 7th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gavilanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Şenel Volkan. Andries De Putter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Gavilanes having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's Kenny Alströmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lei Bin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudio Astolfi made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alexsandro Gavilanes. Alberto Ocomardia struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lei Bin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porteño Prowess FC. In the 40th minute, Andries De Putter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Alströmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Porteño Prowess FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Gavilanes. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenny Alströmer to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Alejandro Gavilanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenny Alströmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kenny Alströmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Lei Bin made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Alejandro Gavilanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lei Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Alströmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Andries De Putter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Porteño Prowess FC made a substitution. Fiallos Mellado replaced Baltasar Innocenzio. AFC United's Bilintx Trilla was substituted for Şenel Volkan. Alejandro Gavilanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Asprilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Mikaelsson made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC United's Fryderyk Maurycy. Fryderyk Maurycy's late challenge caught a Porteño Prowess FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fryderyk Maurycy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Porteño Prowess FC booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Maurycy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Kenny Alströmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Bin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Claudio Astolfi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Porteño Prowess FC's Boris Mikaelsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fryderyk Maurycy in the 90 minute of the game. Porteño Prowess FC's Alejandro Gavilanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Asprilla in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Asprilla in the 94th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gavilanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Alströmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lei Bin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
