Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toro Martínez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Toro Martínez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Teofilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Despidida AFC were awarded a corner. Emanuel Lucila went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Emanuel Lucila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but &La vieja Guardia&'s Fidel Teofilio did a great save. In the 7th minute, Edgar Asserlindh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Despidida AFC's zone, Kasper Ververs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Selatse came out of the goal and Kasper Ververs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, &La vieja Guardia&'s goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Rizzo came free, but Fidel Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to &La vieja Guardia& getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alvaro Arotza hit a great ball. Kasper Ververs was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toro Martínez in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Teofilio saved &La vieja Guardia& from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toro Martínez in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Teofilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidel Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Arano in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by &La vieja Guardia&'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Lucila was slow to take the kick. During this time Despidida AFC's players had a chance to rest. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kasper Ververs was the one to do the kick off. Fidel Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Martínez in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Alvaro Arotza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. &La vieja Guardia&'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despidida AFC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toro Martínez in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Teofilio saved &La vieja Guardia& from getting behind. Fidel Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute.
