Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerios Voutsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Laurențiu Susara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Lara in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saronida FC's zone, Mané Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Susara came out of the goal and Mané Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Mané Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 73rd minute, Mané Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Huang Tian Yun might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Borys Gruchacz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Huang Tian Yun ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huang Tian Yun got free with Borys Gruchacz in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Huang Tian Yun struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Borys Gruchacz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saronida FC.
