Renan Duigou made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Harry Styles however managed to control. Ivan Chiuzbaian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachary Pliszka in the 33rd minute. Adolfo Grau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Pliszka in the 40th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachary Pliszka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ivan Chiuzbaian made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zhao Sen Yang was the one to do the kick off. The player immediately received a yellow card. Renan Duigou kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Brujas KV's Fulgencio Nikola was substituted for Zachary Pliszka. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Brujas KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Duigou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Nikola in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Nikola in the 87th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Nikola in the 88th minute of play. Adolfo Grau was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Zhao Sen Yang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zhao Sen Yang really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
