Jess Carnduff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frans Baltzer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ruslan Rúklyov stood somewhat misplaced when Thomas Müller came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Ruslan Rúklyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Valter Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruslan Rúklyov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valter Xabat's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes of play, VN BAKITO's Denimir Tzonkov made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jess Carnduff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denimir Tzonkov to strike the kick off in the second half. Denimir Tzonkov scored 2-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jess Carnduff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Xabat in the 57th minute of play forced VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Xabat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruslan Rúklyov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alemannia Aachen's Manfred Kottsieper couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for VN BAKITO. In the 87th minute, Yani Dandolov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruslan Rúklyov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alemannia Aachen were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after VN BAKITO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manfred Kottsieper took the corner. Aulis Salomaa made a great header on Alemannia Aachen's corner, it was just that VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov managed to reach the ball for a save. The Alemannia Aachen fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
