With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Errando in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Lundqvist saved Golden Lions FC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Larpe came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Golden Lions FC's Mats Nyström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
