Mano Hume stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Vigil's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute, Arkadiusz Piatek made a precise shot to the right of Barra Gol. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Barra Gol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony de Lima during the 43rd minute. Barra Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Gabriel Delassus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Mano Hume made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu de Andrade in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the PEÇONHENTO FC MG defense, Severo Bermudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barra Gol. The PEÇONHENTO FC MG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barra Gol should have stopped the shot. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Paul Crouch in the 96th minute of play.
