Hervé Leplat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alban Da Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Patrick Armstrong came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by New York FC's Alban Da Cruz. But to his dismay, Alban Da Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Peter Linkhorst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Hervé Leplat made a huge save. Hervé Leplat made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Peter Linkhorst sent off a good shot on target. New York FC's Hervé Leplat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, New York FC's Alban Da Cruz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Merlin Noyon charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merlin Noyon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Merlin Noyon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Rosario got free with Hervé Leplat in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. New York FC's Hervé Leplat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save New York FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of New York FC booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryan Seguier kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Peter Linkhorst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. New York FC made a substitution. Michaël Dieudonné replaced Joachim Becquart. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Peter Linkhorst took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hervé Leplat. Hervé Leplat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. New York FC's Hervé Leplat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorbjörn Olerius in the 57th minute of play. Hervé Leplat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Våleman in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, New York FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspard Dixneuf to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Våleman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alban Liabeuf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Patrick Armstrong made a huge save. Adrian Våleman hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. New York FC's Hervé Leplat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when New York FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud Bourgois didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Peter Linkhorst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hervé Leplat was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 97th minute, Adrian Våleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the New York FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ManagerZone Crew.
