Spectators: 388 (Terracing: 292, Seating: 89, VIP seats: 7) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emánuel Borsó made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Geofredo. Vicente Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emánuel Borsó in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Independiente's Emánuel Borsó sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Eyague narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidoro Beltran took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Eyague. Vicente Eyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Tigre defense, Emánuel Borsó kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Eyague. The Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Eyague should have stopped the shot. Independiente's Pepe Santoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. Pepe Santoro made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Osvaldo Geofredo sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Jorge Cachorro put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pepe Santoro. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Emánuel Borsó hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Raimundo Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tigre booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Frans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Geofredo. Vicente Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emánuel Borsó in the 40th minute of the match. Florentino Inge hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Sergey Charnikovich came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Geofredo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Independiente's Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Geofredo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sergey Charnikovich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepe Santoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 61 minutes in the game, Sergey Charnikovich dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Independiente made a substitution. Serafín Berganza replaced Emánuel Borsó. When Tigre's Jorge Cachorro in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Geofredo in the 76th minute of the match. The corner led Tigre's Alto Monø to fire away a dangerous shot which Pepe Santoro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, August Nordlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigre's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Nordlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 minutes, Jorge Cachorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tigre and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jorge Cachorro hit a great ball. Pepe Santoro came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tigre's Jorge Cachorro. But to his dismay, Jorge Cachorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 89th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Dropinski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Independiente booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Leonel Iratzeder hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafín Berganza got free with Vicente Eyague in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 97 minutes, Serafín Berganza made it 5-3 with a short kick to the right side. Tigre's Vicente Eyague tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tigre's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
