Manuel Nicolescu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Poli Iași's George Baldu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Basarab Bocșan but with some difficulty. Mihai Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Strungă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Valentin Strungă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Nicolescu in the 12th minute of play forced Poli Iași's goalkeeper Mihai Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Remus Nuțu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basarab Bocșan. FC MeHigh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remus Nuțu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Basarab Bocșan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Nuțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Călin Irimia's late challenge caught a Poli Iași's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Călin Irimia helped the player get up and apologised. Călin Irimia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. FC MeHigh's Basarab Bocșan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC MeHigh from getting a goal against them. Nicu Timofte hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. George Curteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute George Curteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Bogdănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Nicolescu in the 38th minute of play forced Poli Iași's goalkeeper Mihai Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Remus Nuțu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Bocșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Cristoloveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Basarab Bocșan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Peter in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as Aristide Strungă kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihai Bogdănescu. That made the score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. FC MeHigh's Sandu Nistorescu was substituted for Ivan Brașoveanu. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, George Curteanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mihai Bogdănescu to make any attempt to save it. FC MeHigh's Călin Duțulescu was substituted for Călin Irimia. Mihai Bogdănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Strungă in the 69th minute of play. Basarab Bocșan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remus Nuțu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Poli Iași's Mihai Bogdănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Poli Iași from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FC MeHigh's zone, Remus Nuțu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Bocșan came out of the goal and Remus Nuțu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Poli Iași's Mihai Bogdănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Poli Iași from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when Poli Iași was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihai Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Strungă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC MeHigh's zone, Olimpiu Luca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Bocșan came out of the goal and Olimpiu Luca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Poli Iași supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC MeHigh's performance. The match ended with a win for FC MeHigh.
