Sulo Montaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Higinio Aguilera made a huge save. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 4th minute of play. Higinio Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgür Özbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaan Öztanır. Higinio Aguilera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaan Öztanır in the 12th minute. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Haritzeder in the 13th minute of play. Higinio Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bektaş Veli Ülgü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. Indiana Jones scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Buturugã, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Kaan Öztanır came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sulo Montaña's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Higinio Aguilera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Özgür Özbay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Aguilera. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özgür Özbay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hu Xiong Zhen fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hijos de Doña Beija's protests and gave Hu Xiong Zhen a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sulo Montaña stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 51st minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Akif Cerme. In the 60th minute Ahmet Hamdi Ortan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, George Buturugã successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sulo Montaña in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Aguilera saved Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting behind. When Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Feliciano Haritzeder in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOI's goalie prevented a goal. Higinio Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan Öztanır, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 86th minute Kaan Öztanır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Aguilera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaan Öztanır went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Albino Brion was substituted for Jyrki Sillanpää. LOI made a substitution. Tayyip Taylan replaced Habib Durukan. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Özbay in the 91st minute of play. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LOI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Hijos de Doña Beija had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
