Fabiofs's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Savas Iosifakis made a kick off. When Joãozinho Trints came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Fabiofs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joãozinho Trints couldn't finish the play. Brazil's Clayton Gol was substituted for Morales Moreira. Alexander Hegg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saulão Chettle in the 88th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Alexander Hegg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Franz Beckenbauer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alexander Hegg firmly grabbed it by the left post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
