Mazinho Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosun Paşa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Aírton Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goal looked a bit too open when Tosun Paşa came free, but Mazinho Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaqueteros FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Venancio Victoro took the corner. The corner ended in Venancio Victoro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Mazinho Barreto did a great save. In the 58th minute, Vaqueteros FC's Tosun Paşa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Tosun Paşa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazinho Barreto was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The Vaqueteros FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vaqueteros FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
