An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekber Merdan in the 8th minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Varennes's Gilberto Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekber Merdan in the 19th minute of play. The Huns's Andre Huyterhoeven got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vintilă Murgu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurice Odonnell in the 25th minute. Gilberto Boone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Chesaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ekber Merdan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Boone having to make a save. Gilberto Boone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Merdan in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Odonnell in the 45th minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the game, Ekber Merdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gilberto Boone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ekber Merdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Ekber Merdan came free, but Gilberto Boone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Ekber Merdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Gilberto Boone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Varennes's Titus Pineda was substituted for Bernardo Goudreau. If Ekber Merdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Ekber Merdan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Boone. The goal made the score 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ekber Merdan got free with Gilberto Boone in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Gorjanu to maneuver through the defense. Ekber Merdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Boone having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Ekber Merdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Boone. Varennes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ekber Merdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7.

The Varennes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Huns's performance. The match ended with a win for The Huns.
