Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Bonet ran back to his position shaking his head. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Daustad's Jo Øverås got control of the ball when Frode Tobiassen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frode Tobiassen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jo Øverås made a huge save. A hard shot 9 in the game by Frode Tobiassen from a close distance when the talented Jo Øverås managed to make a qualified save. Daustad's players were relieved. Are Rygg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Luis Bonet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Witek having to interfere. Borys Witek came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Daustad's Luis Bonet. But to his dismay, Luis Bonet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Daustad's Luis Bonet in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brufoss IL's goalie prevented a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Luis Bonet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Witek. Brufoss IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Bonet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 30th minute, Luis Bonet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Borys Witek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 34 minutes of play, Daustad's Luis Bonet made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Witek was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Markham came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes Daustad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kai Østbye who took care of the corner kick. In the 41st minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Witek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Ribe in the 44th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Emanuel Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Bonet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sigurd Storhaug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Markham in the 52nd minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Bonet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Witek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Brufoss IL's Borys Witek got control of the ball when Luis Bonet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jakob Lode charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakob Lode the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Lode to maneuver through the defense. Brufoss IL's Nils-Arne Bruvik was substituted for Kevin Strømsnes. The supporters of Daustad booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Lode didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Borys Witek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 69 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Lode. Emmanuel Schol got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jakob Lode. In the 74th minute, Luis Bonet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emmanuel Schol made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jakob Lode however managed to control. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Markham in the 80th minute of play. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Ribe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Luis Bonet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Bonet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Borys Witek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The Brufoss IL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Daustad's performance. The match ended with a win for Daustad.
