In the 12th minute of the match Diablofaryd F.C. got a corner. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benicio Maurin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 13th match minute, PEÇONHENTO FC MG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Faria to maneuver through the defense. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Barra Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wagner Kill in the 14th minute of play. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Delassus, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Benicio Maurin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Barra Gol. Barra Gol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Benicio Maurin got free in front of the goal in the 34th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Barra Gol was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Gabriel Delassus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Delassus, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Tony Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes PEÇONHENTO FC MG got a freekick which was hit by Tony Tavares. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Barra Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagner Kill in the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Agostini in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barra Gol saved PEÇONHENTO FC MG from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Gabriel Delassus notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Diablofaryd F.C.'s Grzegorz Szamotulski.
