Machados FC V2 were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Atlético Micaelense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iurie Cobzar took the corner. Klaus Van Mellart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Lima having to interfere.

Atlético Micaelense's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Machados FC V2 had won, even though Atlético Micaelense had held more of the ball.
