The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kai Schirmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Amato in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Licerio got free with Kai Schirmer in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai Schirmer having to interfere. Gao Fei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascoal Antas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Ribeiro in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Pascoal Antas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gao Fei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joaquim Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gao Fei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascoal Antas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. FC Fura Balizas's Angélico Cavaco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marin Luican in the 39 minute of the game. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marin Luican hit a great ball. Gao Fei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Antas in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Pascoal Antas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gao Fei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half FC Fura Balizas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascoal Antas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Pascoal Antas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gao Fei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 54th minute Sixto Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Schirmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Pascoal Antas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fura Balizas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Racing Club the free kick. In the 55th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascoal Antas to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Pascoal Antas put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gao Fei. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Celso Maldonado hit a great ball. FC Fura Balizas's Altino Vidal was substituted for Alberto Vides. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Celso Maldonado got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Sixto Gurutz notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC Fura Balizas's Kai Schirmer. Kai Schirmer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gao Fei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Ribeiro in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascoal Antas in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gao Fei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Fura Balizas's Tol Adas was substituted for Pascoal Antas. In the 86th minute of the match FC Fura Balizas got a corner. Real Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. André Palmeira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Du tried in the game's 86th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Gao Fei. An annoying self made goal, 1-4. FC Fura Balizas were furious when Filipe Prates was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when FC Fura Balizas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Prates didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kai Schirmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Du, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Tol Adas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
