Spectators: 555 (Terracing: 418, Seating: 127, VIP seats: 10) Sidney Forbes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. After 11 minutes, Kerry Sellers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Independiente and the Muget players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerry Sellers to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Isaia. Alex Isaia took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Isaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tião Amaral scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Farid Mondragón, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Isaia in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Muget got a corner. C. A. Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joan Quesada ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Isaia in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farid Mondragón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Muget's Isac Gligor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Sellers in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Walery Kuszczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muget's goalkeeper Isac Gligor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 40 minutes Muget's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eric Snowden who took care of the corner kick. Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Isaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joan Quesada was slow to take the kick. During this time Muget's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joan Quesada almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón did a great save. Eric Snowden kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Muget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Independiente's Tommie Bolton was substituted for Sidney Forbes. After 48 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Billy Nilsson. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florin Stancu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Muget's goalkeeper Isac Gligor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommie Bolton. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isac Gligor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Chadwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Muget's Isac Gligor got control of the ball when Alfredo Felder tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Stancu in the 67th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erberk Müftüoğlu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Joan Quesada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muget's Alaaddin Abdul Alim was substituted for Joan Quesada. After 88 minutes Muget's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommie Bolton who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Pan Jing Qi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Florin Stancu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muget's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Stancu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farid Mondragón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
