Atacan Rahim might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Quinten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atacan Rahim ran back to his position shaking his head. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atacan Rahim in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Zielinski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerônimo da Cunha. Boleslaw Zielinski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalie prevented a goal. After 21 minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Berasko who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalie and right to Ruperto Salvadore. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Elite™- FC Galácticos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Lyons's Edinho Rezende got a free kick in the 26th minute. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Elite™- FC Galácticos from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Boleslaw Zielinski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerônimo da Cunha, 2-0. In the 37thth minute of the game Atacan Rahim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyons's Luisito Quinten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerônimo da Cunha was a little too slow when Boleslaw Zielinski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 46th minute Luiz Paulo Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Berasko to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Nikos Kladogennis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Quinten showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

59 minutes into the match, Lyons's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Seco came free, but Luisito Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Atacan Rahim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisito Quinten was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Boleslaw Zielinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerônimo da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikos Kladogennis in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisito Quinten, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 79 minutes into the match, Boleslaw Zielinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. Elite™- FC Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boleslaw Zielinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Lyons made a substitution. Dariusz Roano replaced Boleslaw Zielinski. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Décio Rola was substituted for Luiz Paulo Seco. Fri Spel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Luisito Quinten made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Décio Rola. Jerônimo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Roano in the 91st minute of the match.
