Fulgencio Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cementerio Club's Fulgencio Valente got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Santo Gonzo scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diguinho Carioca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Monteiro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goalkeeper Diguinho Carioca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of C o n f i a n ç a - SE booed when Cementerio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Austen Farrow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cementerio Club were victorious despite being under pressure from C o n f i a n ç a - SE for much of the match.
