Ragnar Wallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Piearres Somiedo scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ragnar Wallander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Piearres Somiedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ragnar Wallander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Nardo Tuo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Piearres Somiedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ragnar Wallander was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piearres Somiedo in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ragnar Wallander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Michael Bergstedt hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piearres Somiedo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ragnar Wallander saved AIF from getting behind. In the 34th minute Estevez Lavega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Buceo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xarles Gadañon in the 36th minute. Sidoro Romeu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. Clementi Llamosas took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ragnar Wallander. Ragnar Wallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Somiedo in the 43rd minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Ragnar Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Buceo's Clementi Llamosas got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AIF's Ragnar Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nardo Tuo in the 46th minute of play. The AIF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Buceo were winning 0-4.

After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Sidoro Romeu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Karl-Michael Bergstedt, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 55th minute Piearres Somiedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clementi Llamosas in the 56th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Ragnar Wallander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 62 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Somiedo came free, but Ragnar Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Xarles Gadañon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ragnar Wallander skillfully saved the ball. Ragnar Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 95th minute of the match. Ragnar Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clementi Llamosas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Buceo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
