An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Urtsin in the 5th minute of play forced Waffem Fc's goalkeeper Aaron Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Naelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Inge having to make a save. After 7 played minutes Waffem Fc got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Acosta. If Sten Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Benedicto Naelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Inge. Waffem Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Naelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Waffem Fc's Sten Nordin got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Benedicto Naelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Inge. Waffem Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Naelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Aaron Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Paris came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waffem Fc's Aaron Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Urtsin in the 36th minute of play. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Nordin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sten Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lev Yashin having to interfere. The Waffem Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Argentina were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mitch Dekens made a kick off. Argentina's Samuel Jobo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aristides Etxeberri in the 54 minute of the game. 56 minutes into the game, Angel Arnalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waffem Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentina the free kick. Samuel Jobo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Waffem Fc's goalkeeper Aaron Inge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Benedicto Naelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Argentina's Vicente Nevada was substituted for Benedicto Naelio. Waffem Fc made a substitution. With a left leg Lev Yashin saved Argentina from getting behind.
