Hurboc's Sebastian Brion got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernabe Duardo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Txurio. Ermegildo Txurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Rodrigo Garci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Paez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hydra's Ermegildo Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Duardo in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Hydra getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Astor Christobal hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Hydra defense, Bernabe Duardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Txurio. The Hydra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Txurio should have stopped the shot. Hydra's Ermegildo Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Duardo in the 28th minute of play. Ermegildo Txurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Brion in the 34th minute of the match. Eliseo Oxarra hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Hydra's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Duardo came free, but Ermegildo Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Christobal during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hydra were furious when Melquiades Formerio was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Hydra getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Melquiades Formerio hit a great ball. When Atilano Bela came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hurboc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Bela couldn't finish the play. The Hydra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hurboc were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Duardo made a kick off. Hydra's Ermegildo Txurio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Hydra from getting a goal against them. Ermegildo Txurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Duardo in the 64th minute. Lucio Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hydra's Jeronimo Frechoso was substituted for Rodrigo Garci. Isidoro Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Frechoso in the 74th minute of play. Lucio Arotza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hydra were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Hurboc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeremias Llorenc took the corner. Hydra's Jeremias Llorenc was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isidoro Paez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 81 minutes into the match, Hydra's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Savier came free, but Ermegildo Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Txurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Savier, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Isidoro Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Joachim in the 89th minute of play. The Hurboc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hurboc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
