The referee showed Cayetano Calisto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lugano con el rojo booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Justino Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Tauro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Paulin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Tauro was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The referee ignored Lugano con el rojo's protests and gave Placido Larra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lugano con el rojo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Placido Larra hit a great ball. Osvaldo Tauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Segio went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tomás Segio took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Tauro. Osvaldo Tauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Cayetano Calisto got a free kick in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Tomás Segio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Tauro. Lugano con el rojo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Segio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Nippur de Lagash 2 played a much better game than Lugano con el rojo and deserved their victory. The Lugano con el rojo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
