An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Tarasek in the 36th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarrett Rosenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Patrick Fontenot made the kick off in the second half. Sertel Dersu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Joey Benedict came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Cosmos Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joey Benedict couldn't finish the play. Hieronim Tarasek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute of the match, Hieronim Tarasek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jarrett Rosenberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Patrick Fontenot hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes Cosmos Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wincenty Bucyki who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Wincenty Bucyki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jarrett Rosenberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cosmos Soccer Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Hieronim Tarasek scored to the left of an out of position Jarrett Rosenberg, making the score, 0-3. The supporters of Palestine - Beşikdüzü TS booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clay Pringle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Fontenot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hieronim Tarasek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Jarrett Rosenberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, Palestine - Beşikdüzü TS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Rush came free, but Bartlomiej Kwinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Emanuel Novak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmos Soccer Club and the Palestine - Beşikdüzü TS players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg got control of the ball when Hieronim Tarasek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Güney Tuğyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jarrett Rosenberg made a huge save. In the 85th minute Patrick Fontenot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Kwinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hieronim Tarasek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Hieronim Tarasek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestine - Beşikdüzü TS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hieronim Tarasek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nadir Ünlüol was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
