With a left leg Basri İhtiyar saved Yalapa from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Açıkalın came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yalapa's Fabian Rosalio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Batıkan Muhsin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fermin Dolfo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Batıkan Muhsin came out and tried to block the shot, but Fermin Dolfo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Atilla Açıkalın notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar. Basri İhtiyar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Sasso in the 23rd minute of play. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hasan Tahsin Polatalp in the 24th minute. Kurtuluş Senih kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Atilla Açıkalın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basri İhtiyar. Yalapa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilla Açıkalın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Atilla Açıkalın notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Dolfo got free with Batıkan Muhsin in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Jose Nuno in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Agamenón do Nascimento. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Açıkalın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Dolfo was the one to do the kick off. Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Bernardo Sasso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Yalapa's Diego Armando Junior quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Atilla Açıkalın took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basri İhtiyar. Basri İhtiyar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Yalapa made a substitution. Cristobal Isusko replaced Faustino Dimo. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Kasper Häll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Kasper Häll made a precise shot to the right of Basri İhtiyar. Yalapa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Diego Armando Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basri İhtiyar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 85 minutes, Kasper Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasper Häll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Sasso hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin. Batıkan Muhsin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tarmo Helm hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
