Giuseppe Preca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Preca in the 14th minute of play. With his leg Jānis Lielais managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Wiktoria Zajafka's Giuseppe Preca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jānis Lielais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Preca, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes, Antoni Drebit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wiktoria Zajafka and the SK Annenieki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Wiktoria Zajafka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Drebit to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wiktoria Zajafka's goalkeeper Sylwester Domeradzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a left leg Sylwester Domeradzki saved Wiktoria Zajafka from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Kryspin Pisarczyk notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais. Jānis Lielais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Preca in the 37th minute of play. In the 46th minute Artūrs Sagalats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Domeradzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jānis Lielais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe Preca went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artūrs Sagalats was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Sylwester Domeradzki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Preca in the 57th minute of play forced SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Domeradzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinholds Jaunzems in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Korneliusz Sobania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiktoria Zajafka's Martin Žiška was substituted for Giuseppe Preca. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when Wiktoria Zajafka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Sobania didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Indris Tomass fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Annenieki's protests and gave Indris Tomass a yellow card for diving instead. Indris Tomass kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. SK Annenieki made a substitution. Santis Krūzītis replaced Renāts Skipors. After 95 played minutes SK Annenieki got a freekick which was hit by Indris Tomass. In the 96th minute Martin Žiška shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jānis Lielais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
