Costel Tăbăcaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Codrea in the 6th minute of the match. Pompiliu Găină hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Petru Sabău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Necula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Muraru to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Ernest Enoaia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costel Tăbăcaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Felix Oneț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petru Sabău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Martin Necula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Petru Sabău came free, but Martin Necula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Horia Bota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42nd play minutes Ernest Enoaia shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Costel Tăbăcaru and just under the crossbar into goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute Ernest Enoaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Tăbăcaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Remus Doinaș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muget's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simared -MM- the free kick. A collision led to Muget getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Remus Doinaș hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Muget's Petru Sabău nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Necula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 63 minutes into the match, Petru Sabău had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Necula. Simared -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petru Sabău was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Felix Oneț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Dumitru Miron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simared -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muget the free kick. In the 73rd minute, one of Simared -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Simared -MM-. Martin Necula went to the wrong direction when Grigore Roşu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The attack was good, but when Nicodim Codrea in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Simared -MM-'s Martin Necula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Sabău in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Simared -MM-'s zone, Remus Doinaș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Necula came out of the goal and Remus Doinaș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costel Tăbăcaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicodim Codrea in the 94th minute. Muget's Costel Tăbăcaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Muget from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Muget fans cheered their team off the field, for while Simared -MM- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
