The supporters of Papillon AC booed when Noisiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harold Combettes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Birila in the 6th minute of play forced Noisiel's goalkeeper Karlheinz Ludecke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Harold Combettes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jean Van Damme. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harold Combettes got free with Jean Van Damme in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Noisiel got a corner. Papillon AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Farges ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Diego Farges got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean Van Damme quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jean Van Damme made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Harold Combettes sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papillon AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diego Farges was slow to take the kick. During this time Noisiel's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Tommy Corral advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Harold Combettes could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Jean Van Damme however easily saved by the left post. After taking down the ball on Noisiel's corner Diego Farges fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jean Van Damme quite easily take care of the ball. Harold Combettes struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jean Van Damme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noisiel. Noisiel's Harold Combettes got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Noisiel's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Medina came free, but Karlheinz Ludecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Noisiel's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Vadillo came free, but Karlheinz Ludecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harold Combettes to make the kick off. Karlheinz Ludecke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Modestio in the 56th minute. Jean Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Combettes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Zosimo Vadillo. Noisiel's Mustapha Debray was substituted for Shi Ying Yang. Noisiel's Jules Berna was substituted for Harold Combettes. Noisiel's Christopher Loaëc was substituted for Ulizes Rodrigo. Zosimo Vadillo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Nardo. Jean Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Farges in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute Jules Berna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Van Damme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlheinz Ludecke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Modestio in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jules Berna during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Noisiel's Jules Berna got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The corner led Noisiel's Diego Farges to fire away a dangerous shot which Jean Van Damme despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 83 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Roland. In the 84th minute of the match Diego Farges shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean Van Damme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Berna in the 88th minute of play. Noisiel's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
