To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ugonotti's Adriano De Carolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Spadoni in the 12th minute of play. Adriano De Carolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bar Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Bar Olo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano De Carolis. Ugonotti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bar Olo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute Davide Spadoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano De Carolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bar Olo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano De Carolis. Adriano De Carolis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ugonotti's Vinícius Juniors was substituted for Rico Taha. In the 28th minute, Bar Olo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano De Carolis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Anfilogino Pantani hit a great ball. With a little luck, Italy's Bruno Antognoni got control of the ball when Yu Wei Bo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
