Reinard Hennes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Twelve Ravens's Roberto-Carlos van Beek to fire away a dangerous shot which Tiaguinho Correia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Twelve Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Dracena came free, but Roland Vanden Broucke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Leo Verstappen in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Trindade Atlético Club's Sílvio Cavalcante. In the 30th minute, Dagoberto Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Roland Vanden Broucke. Twelve Ravens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Reinard Hennes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 44 minutes of play, Trindade Atlético Club's Dagoberto Dracena made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Vanden Broucke was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Twelve Ravens's Leo Verstappen got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, Twelve Ravens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Verstappen to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the match, Twelve Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Dracena came free, but Roland Vanden Broucke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinard Hennes made a kick off. A collision led to Twelve Ravens getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bruno Cappelsmans hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Twelve Ravens's Leo Verstappen got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Dracena in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Vanden Broucke saved Twelve Ravens from getting behind. If Fulgencio Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Twelve Ravens booed when Trindade Atlético Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Rius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trindade Atlético Club's Maurinho Dias was substituted for Ruperto Emenon. Twelve Ravens's Vicent Duranseau was substituted for Reinard Hennes. In the 69th minute, Fulgencio Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Twelve Ravens's Lennart De Coster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiaguinho Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Róbson Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vanden Broucke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trindade Atlético Club's Tiaguinho Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanick Goosens in the 75th minute of play. If Róbson Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Twelve Ravens's goalkeeper Roland Vanden Broucke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Couto in the 82nd minute of play. Trindade Atlético Club's Róbson Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart De Coster charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lennart De Coster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lennart De Coster hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Trindade Atlético Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Twelve Ravens.
