Claudiu Răducanu started the match with the kick off. Çakır Alyakut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Răducanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Claudiu Răducanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1930 Bafraspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ozan Atılay was slow to take the kick. During this time MARAZZINO's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ozan Atılay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Çakır Alyakut quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lütfü Öktemer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Hermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ozan Atılay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Çakır Alyakut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. MARAZZINO were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after 1930 Bafraspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ozan Atılay took the corner. 19 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's Ball Pitt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çakır Alyakut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Darío Benedetto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lütfü Öktemer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Veerman in the 22nd minute of play. Çakır Alyakut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Răducanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çakır Alyakut made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Darío Benedetto sent off a good shot on target. Çakır Alyakut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu in the 27th minute of play. Henk Veerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lütfü Öktemer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute Darío Benedetto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lütfü Öktemer came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by 1930 Bafraspor's Henk Veerman. But to his dismay, Henk Veerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but Lütfü Öktemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half 1930 Bafraspor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henk Veerman to strike the kick off in the second half. Lütfü Öktemer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thierry Hermans in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Răducanu in the 54th minute of play forced 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Çakır Alyakut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çakır Alyakut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Claudiu Răducanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MARAZZINO made a substitution. Mieszko Pilsudski replaced Darío Benedetto. MARAZZINO's Dacian Zburliş was substituted for Ozan Atılay. MARAZZINO's Arman Miran was substituted for İshak Kurhan. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Dacian Zburliş put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Çakır Alyakut. Lütfü Öktemer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a little luck, MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer got control of the ball when Rıdvan Balıkçı tried to sneak it across the goal line. MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 79th minute of play. Lütfü Öktemer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 80th minute of the match. 1930 Bafraspor's Rıdvan Balıkçı was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Răducanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Çakır Alyakut was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Claudiu Răducanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARAZZINO's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Răducanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Çakır Alyakut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rıdvan Balıkçı succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 94th playminute.
