Ernest Albu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Hâjdău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Romeo Toma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Albu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Șerban Uncu scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Albu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Tudor Logofătu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Zamfir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Marioteanu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iacob Marioteanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Iacob Marioteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nistor Zamfir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Logofătu in the 25th minute. Nistor Zamfir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Logofătu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Gabriel Logofătu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Nistor Zamfir made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Emilian Stoiculescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Toma in the 39th minute of play forced Wolves Academy's goalkeeper Ernest Albu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolves Academy's Ernest Albu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Uncu in the 42nd minute of play. Ernest Albu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Hâjdău in the 43rd minute of play. Ernest Albu came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Nirosxn 08's Romeo Toma. But to his dismay, Romeo Toma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Ernest Albu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Toma in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Nirosxn 08's zone, Gabriel Logofătu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Zamfir came out of the goal and Gabriel Logofătu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iacob Marioteanu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Albu. Ernest Albu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 63 minutes into the match, Romeo Toma dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernest Albu, 1-4. If Emilian Stoiculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Uncu in the 77th minute of play forced Wolves Academy's goalkeeper Ernest Albu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernest Albu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Șerban Uncu sent off a good shot on target. With 89 minutes on the clock, Eugen Basarab commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 88 minutes into the game, one of AFC Nirosxn 08:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. AFC Nirosxn 08's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
