In the 3rd minute Sabri Taci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Ross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute Robbie Fowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Baladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Robbie Fowler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Stephan Hofer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manly FC's Pete Wittber quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mourad Rocchi's late challenge caught a 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. But to his dismay, László Várdai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Robbie Fowler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Baladi having to make a save. Robbie Fowler might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nemesio Baladi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Fowler ran back to his position shaking his head. Sydney Ross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from László Várdai in the 60th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that László Várdai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sydney Ross was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute Robbie Fowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Baladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Fowler might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nemesio Baladi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Fowler ran back to his position shaking his head. When László Várdai came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that László Várdai couldn't finish the play. 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯'s Nemesio Baladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Fowler in the 80th minute of play.
