Artaç Uluğ charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nando Muslera made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Neşat Muzaffer sent off a good shot on target. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafur Cingöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Nando Muslera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Anatolia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayındır Mehmet Okergun to maneuver through the defense. If Cenap Eröz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Batu Nusret. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafur Cingöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Enginalp Orkun took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nando Muslera. Nando Muslera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Neşat Muzaffer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Nando Muslera made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Gafur Cingöz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 38th minute Enginalp Orkun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Cenap Eröz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Anatolia FC's Fadıl Alan. Fadıl Alan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmet Bülent Cevar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Nando Muslera made a huge save. If Enginalp Orkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vedat Nezir's late challenge caught a Anatolia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vedat Nezir helped the player get up and apologised. Vedat Nezir hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cenap Eröz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Artaç Uluğ got a free kick in the 57th minute. Nando Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Bülent Cevar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Anatolia FC booed when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erenay Mutluer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nando Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Bülent Cevar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neşat Muzaffer in the 65th minute of play forced VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalkeeper Nando Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL booed when Anatolia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Bülent Cevar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vedat Nezir kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Nando Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Bülent Cevar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Devlet Ulağ struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match, Cenap Eröz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fadıl Alan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 83 minutes into the game, Ahmet Boran Oğuz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anatolia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL the free kick. Cenap Eröz didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 84th minute. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With 89 minutes on the clock, Vedat Nezir commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Nando Muslera had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Gafur Cingöz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 93rd minute Gafur Cingöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fadıl Alan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenap Eröz in the 98th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Anatolia FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
