Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HORIZZONT the free kick. The supporters of HORIZZONT booed when Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pekin Akdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goal looked a bit too open when Rahim Sidam came free, but Şemsettin Tanaltay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Rahim Sidam notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Şemsettin Tanaltay. Şemsettin Tanaltay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Şemsettin Tanaltay came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by HORIZZONT's Rahim Sidam. But to his dismay, Rahim Sidam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Şemsettin Tanaltay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naim Gencal in the 26th minute of the match. When Naim Gencal fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HORIZZONT's protests and gave Naim Gencal a yellow card for diving instead. Cem Macit's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rüştü Recber firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rahim Sidam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When HORIZZONT's Mirza Yazargil in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mirza Yazargil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Şemsettin Tanaltay. That made the score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. With a little luck, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Şemsettin Tanaltay got control of the ball when Naim Gencal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rahim Sidam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Şemsettin Tanaltay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tanaltay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naim Gencal. HORIZZONT made a substitution. Yaşar Akbuğ replaced Rahim Sidam. Şemsettin Tanaltay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naim Gencal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Naim Gencal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tanaltay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goal looked a bit too open when Naim Gencal came free, but Şemsettin Tanaltay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Yaşar Akbuğ made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Şemsettin Tanaltay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, HORIZZONT's Şemsettin Tanaltay threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yaşar Akbuğ, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. HORIZZONT were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
