Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Bozkurt's Feyyaz Uçar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebati Murathan during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bozkurt fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Bozkurt:s Boran Gencal showed great skill when he stopped Wilfred Zaha:s penalty. After 21 minutes of play, KOCAELİSPOR's Wilfred Zaha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boran Gencal was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Wilfred Zaha came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the KOCAELİSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfred Zaha couldn't finish the play. KOCAELİSPOR's Ersin Kahveci managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sinan Ateş in the 33 minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Wilfred Zaha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boran Gencal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feyyaz Uçar got free with Arif Burak Çimen in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Bozkurt's Ziya Tozun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Burak Çimen. That made the score 1-3 after 48 minutes of play. After the first half KOCAELİSPOR were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ersin Kahveci during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute Ziya Tozun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Burak Çimen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by KOCAELİSPOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ziya Tozun was slow to take the kick. During this time Bozkurt's players had a chance to rest. Kamer Şensal thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Arif Burak Çimen, a very annoying self made goal in the 62nd minute which led to 2-3. Boran Gencal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sümer Ruşen in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, KOCAELİSPOR's Sümer Ruşen made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boran Gencal was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Bozkurt getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sinan Ateş hit a great ball. Sümer Ruşen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Sümer Ruşen. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KOCAELİSPOR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
