The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Egemen Gencalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Necati Başok in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Ahmet Ozan Şendoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egemen Gencalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rakı Sevenler FC's Egemen Gencalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Necati Başok in the 29th minute of play. Furkan Gurbet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Tonhauser in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Rakı Sevenler FC booed when Sarı kaya FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daryl Dixson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Tonhauser was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Rakı Sevenler FC got a freekick which was hit by Gürsel Ersever.
