Fırat Elhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aykut Özsahin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 18 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Ferman Irgatbaşı. 20 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's Fırat Elhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aykut Özsahin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Bulut Altıncığlu in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Trabzonspor's Sezen Nebi. A T A B E Y - Fener45's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fırat Elhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aykut Özsahin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raşit Timuroz in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aykut Özsahin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Ulryk Jarosiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyrani Falcıoğlu. In the 94th minute, Raşit Timuroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trabzonspor had won after a very even match.
