In the 11th minute Baltasar Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, SARI ZEYBEK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurtuluş As to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SARI ZEYBEK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kim Min hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Muammer Topuz came free, but Gianluca Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurtuluş As received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gianluca Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Kurtuluş As slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nebi Tezkan in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluca Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Baltasar Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altay Bayındır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Frasquito in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, SARI ZEYBEK's Gianluca Buffon threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Muammer Topuz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Eustacio Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gianluca Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muammer Topuz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Firmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Altay Bayındır having to make a save. After some careless play in the SARI ZEYBEK defense, Ronaldo Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Altay Bayındır. The SARI ZEYBEK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Altay Bayındır should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nebi Tezkan to make the kick off. Nevşehirspor's Gianluca Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özkan Özyuva in the 53rd minute of play. Rıdvan Kurushov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Bayındır having to interfere. SARI ZEYBEK made a substitution. Orkun Adar replaced Nebi Tezkan. 72 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Altay Bayındır had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Frasquito. Gianluca Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orkun Adar, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Rıdvan Kurushov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
