Niklas Larsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 5 minutes into the match, Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper Urban Cedergård had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoffer Byström. Frosta Härad IF's Urban Cedergård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Byström in the 6th minute of play. Urban Cedergård made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Paul Scholes sent off a good shot on target. Frosta Härad IF's Göran Gustavsson got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Scholes scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urban Cedergård, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Göran Gustavsson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gnaget United FC's Niklas Larsson. Niklas Larsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Urban Cedergård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Byström in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gnaget United FC's Tobias Stenström got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes, Frosta Härad IF's Karl-Ove Henriksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niklas Larsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Frosta Härad IF reached it. Tommy Lindsten's late challenge caught a Gnaget United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Lindsten helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gnaget United FC booed when Frosta Härad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Paul Scholes took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Urban Cedergård to make any attempt to save it. Niklas Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Urban Cedergård was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christoffer Byström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 42 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Lindsten came free, but Niklas Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Göran Gustavsson made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Lindsten got free with Niklas Larsson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frosta Härad IF's Urban Cedergård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Scholes in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Byström in the 59th minute of play forced Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper Urban Cedergård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Scholes took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urban Cedergård. Urban Cedergård dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 66 minutes into the game, Gnaget United FC's Clóvis Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urban Cedergård made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Gnaget United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frosta Härad IF the free kick. After 77 played minutes Gnaget United FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Stenström. With a little luck, Gnaget United FC's Niklas Larsson got control of the ball when Göran Gustavsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urban Cedergård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Kling, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute Christoffer Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Cedergård saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Edvard Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoffer Byström scored 7-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urban Cedergård, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Gnaget United FC were the better team. Gnaget United FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
