The referee ignored Gudhem's protests and gave Torsten Nordström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Torsten Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Christoffer Byström notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sverker Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Byström in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Gudhem's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Blomqvist came free, but Sverker Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Gudhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match, Carl Kling tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sverker Lindgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sverker Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Scholes in the 35th minute. Herbert Lagerberg hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Samuel Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Carl Kling dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sverker Lindgren, 4-0.

The wind increased when Billy Dahlberg made the kick off in the second half. Sverker Lindgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Scholes went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Sverker Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Byström in the 57th minute of play. Sverker Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Scholes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 63 minutes of play, Gnaget United FC's Carl Kling made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sverker Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Carl Kling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Gudhem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Kling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 76 minutes into the game, Paul Scholes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Sverker Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Christoffer Byström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sverker Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Byström in the 83rd minute of play forced Gudhem's goalkeeper Sverker Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sverker Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Fågel in the 84th minute of the match. With 94 minutes on the clock, Samuel Sundberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gudhem! In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Gnaget United FC. Paul Scholes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sverker Lindgren. 11-0.
