Johannes Hedbom in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Einar Jernberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ingmar Målare who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Einar Jernberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hisingen IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ingmar Målare was slow to take the kick. During this time Malmö Torpedos's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Malmö Torpedos's Ingmar Målare to fire away a dangerous shot which Einar Jernberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jim Billing's late challenge caught a Hisingen IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingmar Målare in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einar Jernberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Einar Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Malmö Torpedos's Jens-Ola Lövkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Einar Jernberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
