The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Dahlin got free with Jerry Bergström in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Dahlin scored 5-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerry Bergström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 46 minutes, Martin Dahlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Dahlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Martin Dahlin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerry Bergström. That made the score 6-0 after 48 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Dahlin was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Höglunda IK booed when Lite Finare Lite Bättre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Alstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
