With a little luck, FC Wingspan's Jonathan Almstedt got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Låsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Oskar Låsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jonathan Almstedt made a huge save. Jan-Olof Abrahamsson scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Hybbert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Almstedt made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sven-Oskar Låsberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of BK Gubbhöft booed when FC Wingspan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Ahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Sven-Oskar Låsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Gubbhöft's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Oskar Låsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Oskar Låsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Folke Hybbert was a little too slow when Arvin Engman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. After 61 played minutes BK Gubbhöft got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Bergdal. With a little luck, BK Gubbhöft's Folke Hybbert got control of the ball when Arvin Engman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Arvin Engman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Folke Hybbert. The goal made the score 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvin Engman got free with Folke Hybbert in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Wingspan's Jan-Olof Abrahamsson got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Engman in the 69th minute of play forced BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Folke Hybbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Arvin Engman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folke Hybbert was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Joacim Låsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Almstedt having to interfere. If Jocke Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, FC Wingspan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Ahlbom to maneuver through the defense. When Christer Lindqvist fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Gubbhöft's protests and gave Christer Lindqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes BK Gubbhöft got a freekick which was hit by Christer Lindqvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Morat got free with Folke Hybbert in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvin Engman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Folke Hybbert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The BK Gubbhöft supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Wingspan's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Wingspan.
