Michael Palm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Olenberg having to interfere. Elof Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gaspar Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Joacim Strömbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BENA FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 21st minute, Björn Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludvig Söderquist scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Olenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The BENA FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a rather tough play, Stadsbornas IF's Jonny Andreasson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jan Olenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Söderquist in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Joacim Strömbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. BENA FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Joacim Strömbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Olenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Olenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Strömbom in the 35th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Joacim Strömbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Olenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Joacim Strömbom sped through Stadsbornas IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Olenberg. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joacim Strömbom to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joacim Strömbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Olenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Lustig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joacim Strömbom got free with Jan Olenberg in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michael Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Joacim Strömbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BENA FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Jan Olenberg was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Ludvig Söderquist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ludvig Söderquist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Charles Soned scored 0-9 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Olenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charles Soned struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jan Olenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BENA FK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Soned in the 88th minute of play forced Stadsbornas IF's goalkeeper Jan Olenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 89 in the game by Charles Soned from a close distance when the talented Jan Olenberg managed to make a qualified save. Stadsbornas IF's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Palm got free with Jan Olenberg in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Jan Olenberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Charles Soned in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. BENA FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
