Jan Olenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Rätan IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Rönn came free, but Kurt Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthon Fastesson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stadsbornas IF! The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Säv kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Olenberg. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Per-Åke Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jan Olenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Walroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Rätan IF a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Peter Säv, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stadsbornas IF's Jan Olenberg. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Stadsbornas IF's Olov Gustafsson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Peter Säv, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Stadsbornas IF's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Säv came free, but Jan Olenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Stadsbornas IF's Björn Kilström got a free kick in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Martin Walroth struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jan Olenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rätan IF. Jan Olenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Säv in the 56th minute of play. Peter Säv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Olenberg having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Stadsbornas IF's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Säv came free, but Jan Olenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Walroth hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ian Alegren struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jan Olenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rätan IF. With a little luck, Rätan IF's Kurt Andreasson got control of the ball when Björn Kilström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Rönn got free with Kurt Andreasson in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Niclas Vollander fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rätan IF's protests and gave Niclas Vollander a yellow card for diving instead. 80 minutes into the game, one of Rätan IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fedor Del Campo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedor Del Campo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stadsbornas IF booed when Rätan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedor Del Campo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Jonny Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stadsbornas IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rätan IF the free kick. After 93 played minutes Stadsbornas IF got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Andreasson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Snäll in the 96th minute of play forced Stadsbornas IF's goalkeeper Jan Olenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Rätan IF were the better team. Rätan IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
