Bengt Håkansson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AC Qslig's Stefan Forsell got a free kick in the 25th minute. Rätan IF's Peter Säv got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Eriksson in the 33rd minute of play forced Rätan IF's goalkeeper Kurt Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Kilman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kurt Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Håkan Clementsson kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Rätan IF's Peter Säv couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AC Qslig. Kurt Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Kilman, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. AC Qslig were furious when Mathias Drewitz was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of AC Qslig:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rätan IF:s goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt Håkansson made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Rätan IF's Martin Walroth got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Rickard Nilsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kurt Andreasson, 2-2. In the 61st minute Peter Säv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Kullander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Erik Lövkvist during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ove Kullander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Alegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
