The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Pettersson got free with Pontus Lundin in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Gregersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Maximilian Ryberg kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes, Porjus's Markus Fors shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mattias Pihlgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porjus reached it. The supporters of Porjus booed when Oldham Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Svanberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Wesley Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oldham Athletic's Mattias Pihlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Porjus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Carl Lundgren sped through Oldham Athletic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mattias Pihlgren. In the 20thth minute of the game Carl Lundgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oldham Athletic's Mattias Pihlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pontus Lundin came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Adrian Pettersson. But to his dismay, Adrian Pettersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pontus Lundin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Adrian Pettersson sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Porjus's goalkeeper Pontus Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Pettersson. In the 28th match minute, Porjus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes of play, Porjus's Wesley Cabral made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Pihlgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mats Nilsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Bock during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oldham Athletic booed when Porjus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Bock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arman Gregersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Lundin having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Cabral came free, but Mattias Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Pettersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Pontus Lundin made a huge save.
53 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Arman Gregersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pontus Lundin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Arman Gregersson took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pontus Lundin. Pontus Lundin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 61 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Adrian Pettersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pontus Lundin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. With his leg Mattias Pihlgren managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Porjus's Wesley Cabral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mattias Pihlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Cabral in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wesley Cabral got free with Mattias Pihlgren in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Lundin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wesley Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
